Job Description

Step into a rewarding full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position and play a key role in supporting students during a maternity leave coverage from August 14th through November 30th. This contract assignment is a fantastic opportunity to work with school-aged children, fostering communication skills that will impact both academic and social success.

As an SLP with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you will deliver crucial services in a dynamic educational environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and making a real, daily difference in students’ lives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads and adapt to changing school needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services rendered
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate progress updates
  • Offer consultation and strategies to educational staff as needed
