Make a positive impact on students’ communication skills in an elementary school setting as a Speech Language Pathologist working onsite in the greater San Mateo/Sunnyvale area. This full-time contract runs from August 12, 2026 to June 9, 2027 and offers a dynamic opportunity to nurture young learners’ language development while collaborating with a dedicated education team.
As a valued SLP, you’ll have the option to provide support across two campuses or dedicate your expertise fully to one. Your role will be key in helping students achieve their potential by addressing speech and language goals through tailored interventions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current California SLP license or CA Educator Certification required
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students a plus
- Strong assessment, IEP development, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in group and individual settings
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and build effective intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
- Track student progress and maintain compliant, accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
