Make an impact in the new school year as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle school students! This contract opportunity is perfect for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellows (CFY) looking to work in a collaborative educational setting near Citrus Heights and the Sacramento region. Serve one school site and work closely with special and general education staff to help approximately 30 students thrive in their communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Current PPS Credential
- Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates
- Previous school-based experience is valuable, but strong new grads are welcome
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in an in-person, educational environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized speech-language therapy for middle school students
- Maintain accurate documentation and IEP records
- Deliver therapy sessions on-site, primarily at one location
- Collaborate with special/general education teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Partner with the SPED team and site principal for student success
