SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the Human Resources Assistant provides overall HR and administrative support to the HR department at ASE (U.S.) INC. This role acts as a primary liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of day-to-day requests. Key responsibilities include coordinating full-scope recruiting activities, assisting with onboarding logistics, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with safety compliance.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational ability, maintains the highest degree of confidentiality, stays calm under pressure, and can work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:

· HRIS & Data Management: Maintain and update employee records (hard and soft copies) with strict accuracy. Enter employee information into ADP Workforce Now and utilize a specialized HR Recruitment module.

· Recruitment Coordination: Assist with the full scope of the hiring process, including posting job openings, scheduling candidate interviews, and managing applicant tracking.

· Onboarding & Training: Assist in coordinating new hire orientations, assist with the onboarding process, and track required employee training sessions to ensure onboarding team stays on schedule.

· Compliance & Documentation: Assist with I-9 processing and E-Verify verifications. Assist and monitor employee background checks. Create interactive HR forms and manage signature workflows using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and Adobe Sign.

· Workplace Safety & OSHA: Maintain workplace safety compliance by tracking and updating OSHA 300A logs, OSHA summaries, and OSHA Form 301. Conduct or assist with desk and office ergonomic evaluations.

· Administrative Support: Maintain personnel files with the strictest confidentiality. Provide daily clerical support to the HR department to optimize workflows.

· Culture & Relations: Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding policies and processes to promote an atmosphere of trust, professionalism, and cooperation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Admin, Assistant, or equivalent operational support role.

· HRIS Systems: Hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now features. Direct experience with ADP Recruitment, and SASS is highly desirable.

· Safety Tracking: Practical experience assisting with OSHA documentation and submission (300A, 301, and summaries).

· Certifications: An HR Certification (e.g., aPHR, PHR, or HR Management Certificate) is preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities:

COMPUTER/SOFTWARE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

· Experience with ADP Workforce Now required.

· Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, Adobe Sign, MS Outlook, MS Office

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English and good communication skills are required.

· Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to details

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal/external partners

· High degree of confidentiality and detail-oriented required

· Excellent communicator in both writing and speaking English

· Excellent customer service

· Experience working with a multi-cultural and economically diverse population a plus.

· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Experience in utilizing good judgment and discretion when working with a variety of sensitive issues or highly confidential information.

· Ability to stay calm and on-task in high-stress situations
