Job DescriptionOverview
Registered Nurse – ER, travel assignment in Tehachapi, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $598-$633 per week. Shift: Evenings, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Assignment occurs in an inpatient care setting, focusing on acute, emergent patient needs and collaborative care delivery.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient care decisions.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, document care, and respond promptly to changes in condition in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and ancillary teams to ensure safe, effective transitions of care.

Requirements
- Emergency department nursing experience or demonstrated competency in ER nursing (ER specialty indicated)
- Ability to work evenings and 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) in an inpatient care setting
- Willingness to commit to a travel assignment for 8 weeks
- Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Strong clinical assessment skills, sound judgment, and effective communication under pressure
