About the Role
The Business Team Supervisor leads the front office operations of our growing, patient-centered dental practice. Think of it like managing the front of the house except your "guests" are patients who are counting on you to make a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring. You'll lead a team, manage daily workflow, and serve as the operational link between our patients and our clinical team.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a front office team setting clear expectations and holding people to them
- Oversee daily scheduling, patient check-in/out, and administrative workflow
- Set the tone for an exceptional patient experience from first call to final checkout
- Partner with clinical leadership to keep operations running seamlessly
- Spot inefficiencies and implement real solutions not just workarounds
- Handle patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and ownership
- Ensure team compliance with office policies and performance standards
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience this is the non-negotiable
- Background in retail, hospitality, or any fast-paced customer-facing environment strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build team culture, not just manage tasks
- Strong communicator you can deliver hard feedback and still be the person your team respects
- A calm, solutions-first mindset when things get busy or go sideways
- Someone who takes ownership, not excuses
- Dental or healthcare experience is a plus, not a requirement full training provided
