Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew upholstery for furniture pieces
- Sew, assemble, and finish upholstery components according to specifications
- Work with fabric, vinyl, and leather materials with accuracy and care
- Inspect materials and finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow patterns, measurements, and work instructions consistently
- Perform basic adjustments and maintenance on sewing equipment as needed
- Collaborate with upholsterers and production team members to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
Qualifications
- Experience sewing furniture upholstery required
- Experience working with fabric, vinyl, and leather materials
- Experience with industrial sewing machines preferred
- Strong attention to detail and precision sewing skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
