Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Military Operations & Reporting SMEs to support a project focused on evaluating and improving AI-generated military and DoD reporting content. The role requires practical experience with military operations, staff processes, reporting standards, and executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Review military and DoD reports for accuracy, clarity, and procedural alignment.
- Synthesize information from multiple teams and staff sections into concise reports.
- Evaluate AI-generated content for appropriate military terminology and reporting standards.
- Provide structured feedback on reporting quality and accuracy.
- Develop realistic military reporting scenarios and reference materials.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience within the U.S. Department of Defense as military personnel, DoD civilian, or both.
- Experience preparing recurring reports or executive updates for senior leadership.
- Familiarity with WARs, status reports, performance reports, AARs, or budget execution reports.
- Background in military operations, plans, headquarters/command staff, program management, or resource management.
- Strong written communication and information-synthesis skills.
- Experience as an Operations Officer/NCO, Plans Officer, Action Officer, Staff Officer, Executive Officer, or similar role is preferred.
