- Active Pharmacist License in the state of practice – Required
- All state-required licenses and certifications necessary to perform Pharmacist duties – Required

Facility-Specific Certifications\n

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / HeartCode ACLS (HACLS) / HealthStream ACLS (HS-ACLS) – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / HeartCode BLS (HBLS) / HealthStream BLS (HS-BLS) – Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) / HeartCode PALS (HPALS) / HealthStream PALS (HS-PALS) – Required

Pharmacist – Job Duties Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications. Evaluate medication orders for appropriate dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy. Monitor patient response to medications and recommend therapy adjustments when appropriate. Prepare and supervise the compounding and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile medications, as required.
