Position: Registered Dental Hygienist
Schedule: Part-time – Fridays only, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
We are a well-established, patient-centered general dental practice in South San Francisco dedicated to prevention, personalized care, and a calm, stress-free environment. We see one patient at a time in private treatment rooms and prioritize quality, comfort, and building long-term relationships with our patients and team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough prophylaxis and periodontal scaling
- Take digital radiographs using Dexis
- Chart clinical findings accurately in Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist with patient flow and maintain a clean, organized operatory
- Collaborate closely with the dentist and front office team to deliver excellent patient experiences
Requirements
- Current California RDH license in good standing
- Proven proficiency with Dentrix practice management software
- Experience with Dexis digital radiography
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a small, close-knit team
Preferred
- Experience in a general or family dental practice
- Knowledge of preventive and limited periodontal protocols
