Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential for the state of California
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Adapt curriculum and classroom activities for accessibility and engagement
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data and documentation
- Use positive behavioral interventions and supports to encourage student growth
- Attend IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and team planning meetings as required
- Provide emotional and academic support to help students achieve their full potential

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
