Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's condition, needs, and goals

  • Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate

  • Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely

  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies

  • Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

  • Participate in care planning and contribute to positive patient outcomes

  • Maintain compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited physical therapy degree

  • Current Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility for licensure

  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
