Warehouse Manager responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, storage, material handling, shipping, and team supervision. This hands-on leadership role ensures the accurate, safe, and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other inventory while maintaining food safety, quality, and company standards. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance, and other teams to resolve inventory and shipping issues and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, inventory control, storage, picking, weighing, shipping, and material handling activities.
- Manage inventory accuracy, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and disposition of obsolete, expired, damaged, or discarded materials using NetSuite.
- Ensure shipments and shipping documentation are accurate, complete, and properly secured.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff while promoting productivity, accountability, and workplace safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and food-safe warehouse while ensuring proper storage conditions and compliance with food safety requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a high school diploma may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Experience with inventory management systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
