About the Role

Manning | Kass is seeking a Discovery Litigation Associate to join one of our California offices with at least 2+ years of experience. This role offers the chance to thrive in a diverse, inclusive, and flexible work environment while benefiting from industry recognition and top-tier mentorship.

Responsibilities
\n
\n

- Analyze case facts and assist in developing litigation and discovery strategies.
- Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and subpoenas.
- Assist in preparing for and participating in depositions, examinations under oath (EUOs), and other discovery-related proceedings.
- Prepare discovery memoranda, meet-and-confer correspondence, and other filings supporting efficient case management and resolution of discovery disputes.
- Review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.

Requirements
\n
\n
- \n
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
- You must be licensed to practice in the State of California.
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience, with demonstrated experience managing written discovery, discovery disputes, and document review.
- Exceptional research and writing abilities, with strong analytical skills.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

- Salary starting at $125,000 - $180,000. Salary is commensurate with experience.
