As a General Warehouse Associate in a manufacturing warehouse, you will support order fulfillment and materials handling operations, including picking, packing, assembly, shipping, receiving, and inventory organization. This position reports to the Warehouse Team Lead and offers an immediate start at $19 per hour, depending on experience. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits are available after the probationary period, along with five sick days and two weeks of vacation annually.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Process orders for shipment.
- Assemble products according to established guidelines.
- Receive and unload incoming merchandise.
- Handle and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain organized inventory and work areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday between 7:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; Saturday morning overtime may be available.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven work ethic.
- Ability to occasionally lift boxes weighing 10–25 pounds.
- Applicants must reside within 20 miles of the office in Carlsbad.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of warehouse operations experience.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping and receiving, product assembly, materials handling, safety procedures, and quality control.
