We are seeking an intern to join our Central Operations Department team! Apply today to gain hands-on experience in banking operations! The Central Operations Department (COD) Intern will support the COD team with several daily tasks. A Central Operations Intern supports the behind-the-scenes functions that keep a bank running smoothly and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role provides hands on experience to banking operations, process improvement and cross-departmental collaboration while developing a strong foundation in financial services.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Cash balancing & GL recon
- ATM balancing & GL recon
- Cash vault (balancing, GL recon, order review)
- Deposit review (RDA, MSB RDC, ATM)
- Proof suspense balancing & GL recon
Required Experience:
Must be an active college student in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Possess strong written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational/time management skills.
- Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation.
- Project a businesslike professionalism to the client in both appearance and manner.
Target hourly rate: $20.00
