Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Computer Repair Technicians for a temporary assignment lasting approximately eight weeks, with an anticipated end date near the end of the year. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience repairing Apple Mac computers and Windows-based desktops and laptops.

This position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing computers to prepare them for resale. Candidates with previous Apple repair experience are strongly preferred, although individuals with solid general computer repair and technical experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair defects in various desktop and laptop computers, including Apple Mac and Windows-based systems.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, testing, and repairs on computer components and ports.
• Repair and refurbish laptops and desktops to ensure they are fully operational and ready for resale.
• Format hard drives and install or reinstall operating systems on Mac and Windows computers.
• Perform data erasure and securely wipe hard drives.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare computers for resale.
• Audit retail production line items to verify products are ready for resale.
• Complete quality checks to ensure repaired equipment is functioning properly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience diagnosing and repairing desktop and laptop computers required.
• Experience with Apple Mac computer repair strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems required.
• Technical and electronics knowledge required.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a production-oriented environment.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to successfully complete a drug screening.
• Background check required (may be pending at the time of start).

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Weekends: Not required.
• Assignment Length: Approximately 8 weeks, anticipated through the end of the year.
• Openings: 2 temporary positions.
• Start Date: ASAP.

This is a great opportunity for experienced computer repair technicians looking for a short-term assignment in a hands-on technical environment. Apple repair experience is a plus, but candidates with strong general computer repair backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
