As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a drying machine, managing raw materials, and ensuring the quality of the final product. Your role involves preparing and weighing raw materials, operating the drying machine, and performing routine checks to ensure optimal operation. You will also be responsible for documentation and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Operate drying machine and manage raw materials up to 25 lbs.
  • Monitor machine operation status, including vibration and amperage.
  • Scrape powder residue from machines and load powder into drums.
  • Seal and load drums onto pallets, managing up to four lots per day.
  • Perform Limit of Detection (LOD) measurements.
  • Wrap pallets and move them to storage.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Clean machinery, equipment, drums, and floors.
  • Monitor machine cycle time and performance.
  • Conduct routine quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Use gauges to check machine settings and collect product specifications.
  • Accurately read and follow process procedures and protocols.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in machine operation and process management.
  • Experience in a cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with GMP and SOP standards.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and division.
  • Experience with documentation and batch recording.
  • Capability to perform light maintenance on machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with forklift operation.
  • Strong computer skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jurupa Valley, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
