Job DescriptionPrideStaff is looking for skilled Plant Electricans for a PVC Pipe manufacturer in Modesto, CA!
Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Performs routine preventive checks and emergency repairs on high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear
- Diagnose wiring failures, circuit issues, and control system malfunctions using multimeters and diagnostic tools
- Run conduit, pull wire, and install new circuits, control panels, and automation devices
- Interpret complex electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and building plans to layout and fix systems
- Follow strict safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations, while wearing PPE
Qualifications Include the Following:
- 2-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Electrical Apprenticeship certificate or trade school program required
- Proficiency with low-to-high voltage systems (up to 480 VAC or higher), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50+ pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (May vary)
Pay range varies DOE: $30-$50/HR
