Qualifications

• Active California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biological Sciences (or appropriate California authorization).
• Strong knowledge of California science standards and effective instructional practices.
• Ability to create engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote student achievement.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology and Integrated Science instruction.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
• Assess student learning and maintain accurate academic records.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and campus activities.
