Job DescriptionRN – Labor & Delivery (Contract)
Location: California 95422
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Start: ASAP
Pay: $2,716 – $3,040/week
Schedule

12-hour shifts (primarily nights)

6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
-
Occasional day shift coverage as needed
-
36 or 48 hours/week available
-
Every other weekend required
-
No call / No floating
Position Summary & Responsibilities
-
Provide L&D, postpartum, and newborn (0–28 days) care
-
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document accurately
-
Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
-
Stabilize newborns and respond to emergencies
-
Administer medications, IVs, and monitor fetal status
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate families
-
Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and documentation standards
Requirements
-
Active California RN license
-
3–4 years Labor & Delivery experience (required)
-
Strong labor + postpartum experience required
-
Experience with newborn stabilization required
-
Graduate of accredited nursing program
Certifications
-
Required: BLS, NRP
-
Preferred/Required within 6 months: ACLS, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
