We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Pharmacy Technician to join our reputable compounding pharmacy. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, packaging, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your pharmacy skills while working in a dynamic and supportive setting.
Schedule: Monday – Friday / 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (No weekends)
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, package, and label prescriptions accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols
• Assist in compounding medications under pharmacist supervision, including measuring and mixing ingredients
• Verify prescription details prior to shipping to confirm accuracy
• Organize and prepare prescriptions for delivery, ensuring timely shipment
• Facilitate domestic shipments using FedEx WorldShip, including creating labels and tracking packages
• Maintain a clean, sterile work environment following safety and infection control protocols
• Manage inventory of packaging and shipping supplies to support seamless operations
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily workloads and deadlines
• Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies
Qualifications:
• Experience with FedEx WorldShip (required)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription handling
• Ability to verify prescription information thoroughly
• Capable of maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
• Responsible handling of sensitive information
• Flexibility to wear required scrubs and follow safety guidelines
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software
• Retail or additional pharmacy experience, especially in compounding
• Background in inventory management, shipping, or receiving
Education & Certifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification required
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
• Customer service experience is a plus
