School-Based | Flexible Opportunities
Spindle is actively hiring Instructional Aides to provide 1:1 student support. These roles are ideal for compassionate professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured school setting.
This is a per diem, as-needed position, with shifts available based on school coverage needs.
Position Responsibilities
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
- Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs, as applicable
- Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements | School Compliance
To work in schools, you must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- TB test, per district requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
Clearances must be current or willing to obtain prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset
