Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in K-8th grade as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA). Make a meaningful impact in a school setting, serving primarily elementary-aged learners and contributing to their communication growth and confidence. This full-time, 32.5 hours per week position is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related program required for SLPs; Associate’s or Bachelor’s for SLPAs
  • Active California licensure (SLP-CCC or current SLPA certification)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment for diverse learners

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech, language, and communication therapy to students on your caseload
  • Screen, assess, and diagnose communication disorders among K-8th graders, with an emphasis on elementary levels
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other staff to share strategies and monitor progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
  • Incorporate engaging, evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to individual student needs
