Job Description
Technician (Electronics, Assembly and Test)
Stealthy North Bay Counter-Drone Start-Up | Geyserville, CA (Onsite)
We're a stealthy North Bay start-up building counter-drone technology, and we're at the very beginning. We're a small group of people who like making things happen, and we move fast. There's no red tape and no endless meetings. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with engineers and leadership who want you to succeed, and what you build will go from the bench to the field. If you've ever wanted to be in on the ground floor of something that matters, this is that chance, and it doesn't come around often.
Now we're looking for a hands-on technician who takes pride in doing the job right and likes the idea of building something new from scratch.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Building, wiring, soldering, and integrating electronic and electromechanical prototypes
- Testing hardware on the bench and in the field, and recording the results accurately
- Troubleshooting problems, tracking down the root cause, and working with engineers on the fix
- Reworking and repairing boards, cable harnesses, and assemblies
- Reading schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Keeping build records, test logs, and inventory current and easy to follow
- Supporting range and field testing as needed
- Keeping your bench, tools, and test equipment safe, clean, and organized
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
- Have 2+ years of hands-on experience as an electronics, assembly, or test technician
- Are comfortable with a multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies, and common hand tools
- Have strong mechanical aptitude and love solving a technical puzzle
- Can work independently, think through problems, and ask for help when it matters
- Take pride in quality work and pay attention to the details
- Like a fast-moving environment where you'll wear more than one hat
- Have experience with RF, antenna, or radar hardware, cable harness fabrication, or aerospace, defense, or drone work (a plus, not a must)
The Good Stuff
- Full-time, onsite in Geyserville
- Hourly, non-exempt position with overtime eligibility
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid vacation, and paid sick leave
- A ground floor opportunity with a small, driven team building something new
