Position Title: Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate: $19/Hr. to $20/Hr. (DOE)
Working Days & Hours:
Sunday and Monday: 10 AM to 6:30 PM
Tuesday through Thursday: 1 PM to 9:30 PM (OT as needed) Days Off: Friday + Saturday
Purpose: Coordinate and complete the receiving of ingredients, packaging materials, finished goods, and supplies. Ensure all inbound shipments are received safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting food safety, GMP, OSHA, and inventory control standards.
Key duties:
- Unload and receive inbound deliveries (ingredients, packaging, finished goods, supplies).
- Verify PO #s, quantities, item/lot numbers, and expiration dates against paperwork/system.
- Inspect trailers/materials for damage, cleanliness, temperature, product condition, and load security.
- Ensure refrigerated/temperature-sensitive items meet required specs.
- Complete and sign receiving paperwork; enter transactions into the inventory/warehouse system.
- Label/identify materials and move them to correct storage locations.
- Communicate discrepancies (shortages/overages/damage/temp issues) and manage/segregate QA hold product.
- Keep dock/receiving area clean, organized, and safe; report hazards, spills, equipment issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and research receiving-related discrepancies; support continuous improvement.
Performance focus: Accuracy, safety/food safety, productivity, communication, inventory control, teamwork, and accountability.
Requirements:
