Job Summary\n
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities\n

- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress using the Cerner charting system.
- Float to Mercy Medical Center Redding as required.
- Adhere to all facility policies, including the cancellation policy and trauma level guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Ability to float to various units and facilities as needed.
- Familiarity with the Cerner charting system.
- Willingness to work every other weekend and be the first to float.
