Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Salinas Valley Hotel LP is looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team in Salinas, CA! This is a great opportunity to be the first smile guests see in the morning, helping set the tone for an exceptional stay. Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and break down the daily breakfast buffet service area
- Greet and assist hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast service
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining area, tables, and food stations
- Handle food safely in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary needs when possible
- Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong attention to detail
