Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Start Date: Approximately 2–3 weeks
Compensation: $60-68/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in Sacramento. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Perform medication order verification
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Monitor pharmacokinetics and medication therapy
Ensure safe and accurate medication distribution
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Support daily pharmacy operations and maintain compliance with hospital standards
Requirements
Active California Pharmacist license
Previous hospital pharmacy experience
Strong clinical and communication skills
Positive, professional attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
