Fortune Electric America Inc is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator Assistant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to build a career in logistics and supply chain management. No prior logistics experience is required—we provide training and opportunities to grow into a Logistics Coordinator role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate freight quotes and shipping arrangements with logistics providers for power transformers and oversized equipment.
- Analyze shipping costs and prepare comparisons for management review.
- Monitor shipments, coordinate deliveries, and communicate updates with internal teams and customers.
- Work with vendors and overseas teams to resolve shipping issues, minimize delays, and control costs.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, prepare freight invoices, and support daily logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn and grow professionally.
