Shift: 11 AM - 7 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment and follow established sterilization procedures.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage.
- Assemble and prepare instrument trays and surgical sets according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
- Follow hospital policies, infection prevention guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sterile processing work environment.
- Coordinate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and supplies.
Requirements
- Valid Sterile Processing Technician certification is required.
- Knowledge of instrument processing, decontamination, sterilization, and infection control procedures.
- Ability to follow established protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work the assigned shift and complete a 40-hour workweek.
