Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a K-12 or school setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of mMa OT approaches and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Strong organizational, reporting, and time-management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students' needs and abilities using standardized and informal assessments
- Create and implement individualized intervention plans to support functional independence in the educational setting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Document service delivery, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training and resources to educational staff for best-integrated therapy practices
