Maintenance Manager

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving equipment reliability, improving manufacturing processes, and managing engineering and maintenance teams across multiple production shifts and supervise a team of about 20.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance operations across multiple shifts.

• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.

• Improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production efficiency.

• Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and facility equipment.

• Ensure compliance with AS9100, OSHA, and all safety and quality standards.

• Partner with Production, Quality, and R&D to support operational goals and continuous improvement.

• Manage vendors, contractors, maintenance budgets, inventory, and capital projects.

• Develop KPIs, reduce downtime, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 7–10 years of manufacturing engineering and/or maintenance experience.

• 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering or maintenance teams.

• Experience with heavy manufacturing equipment, lathes, milling machines, industrial furnaces, and maintenance systems.

• Strong knowledge of AS9100, Cal-OSHA, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

• Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $130K - $150K
