Locums Urology coverage in California with 24 hour call coverage and inpatient consult and procedure work at a Level 2 Trauma Center.
Highlights
- Quick start, clean candidates can be credentialed in about 30 days
- Defined coverage blocks, one week in late fall and one week in December
- Robust inpatient urology volume, general urology case mix
- DaVinci Xi robotic capability available, robotic experience is a plus but not required
Practice Setting
- Inpatient urology coverage at a Level 2 Trauma Center
- Patient population includes all ages
- Support team includes 2 PAs, 3 LVNs, 4 MAs, plus a PA training in the OR
- General urology scope
Schedule
- 24 hour call coverage
- 20 minute response time requirement
- Two one week coverage blocks, one in late October to early November and one in late December
Cases and Procedures
- General urology cases
- Robotic cases supported by 3 DaVinci Xi robots with motion table
- Fluoroscopy credential required
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- California medical license required, facility will not wait for a license
- Board Certified in Urology
- Fluoroscopy certification required
