What You'll Be Doing
As a barista at Velo Coffee, you’ll be the face of our brand, bringing energy and warmth to every interaction. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, teas, and other beverages.
- Assisting customers with menu selections and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handling food items, including pastries, with care and attention to detail.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café space.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who:
- Has at least 1 year of 3rd wave coffee experience.
- Can lift at least 50 lbs to assist with inventory and supplies.
- Is comfortable commuting via public transportation to our Los Angeles location.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with people.
- Is passionate about coffee and eager to share that enthusiasm with others.
- Is able to multi-task and stay on task in between taking care of customers.
