Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential for the state of California
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s degree in Special Education or related field preferred

- Strong understanding of special education laws, policies, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with families, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Adapt general education lessons to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles
- Provide direct classroom instruction and small group or individualized support
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other specialists to ensure a cohesive learning experience
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and support teams
