\nRole Description:\n
\nThe Cosmetologist/Braider/Loctician/Esthetician position is a full-time booth rental opportunity located at Kyani Rochelle's Hair Design in Richmond, CA. Daily responsibilities encompass executing a range of hair services, including cutting, styling, braiding, and chemical treatments. For estheticians, this also includes providing fundamental esthetic services such as skincare and makeup application. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in adherence to state regulations, managing appointment schedules efficiently, and contributing to a positive, collaborative salon environment.\n

\nQualifications:\n
\n• A valid California cosmetology and/or esthetician license, or braiding certification where applicable, coupled with a robust foundational understanding of hair care and/or skin care.\n
\n• Demonstrated proficiency in cutting, styling, and finishing techniques, including natural hair care and a diverse array of braiding styles (e.g., box braids, twists, cornrows, protective styles).\n
\n• Experience in delivering basic esthetic services such as facial treatments, skin analysis, and brow grooming, with a comprehensive understanding of various skin types and prevalent concerns.\n
\n• Strong client service acumen, encompassing professional communication, active listening, and the capacity to conduct thorough consultations and recommend appropriate services and products.\n
\n• A steadfast commitment to hygiene and safety, including the proper sanitation of tools and workstations and strict adherence to state board regulations and salon policies.\n
\n• Prior salon or spa experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience working with diverse hair textures and clientele is highly beneficial.
