Requirements
- Minimumof4yearsofresidentialfinishcarpentryexperience
- Strongknowledgeoffinishmaterials,triminstallation,cabinetry,andfinewoodwork
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretarchitecturaldrawings,elevations,andfinishschedules
- Proficiencywithhandtoolsandpowertools(Skilsaw,mitersaw,jigsaw,routers,etc.)
- Mustprovideabasicsetofhandtools(powertoolssuppliedbyS.R.Freeman,Inc.)
- Abilitytoliftupto80poundsandperformrepetitivephysicaltasks
- Abilitytoworksafelyonladdersandinactiveconstructionenvironments
- ValidCaliforniaDriversLicenseandreliabletransportation
- Professionalappearanceandconduct;punctualanddependable
- Willingnesstolearnandutilizecompanysoftwareandtechnologyasneeded
- Bilingual(English/Spanish)preferred,butnotrequired
Responsibilities
- Performallaspectsoffinishcarpentry,includinginstallationof:
- Cabinetsandvanities
- Windowtrimandextensionjambs
- Doorsandhardware
- Baseboardsandcasing
- Stairskirts,railings,andcapboards
- Customtrimandfinishdetails
- Measure,cut,assemble,andinstallfinishmaterialstoexactspecifications
- Readandfollowplans,elevations,andfinishschedulesaccurately
- Installandadjusthardwareandfinishcomponentswithprecision
- Maintainaclean,organized,andsafejobsite
- LeadorassistsmallcrewsasdirectedbytheForeman
- Communicateeffectivelywithsupervisors,teammembers,subcontractors,andgeneralcontractors
- Ensureprojectsarecompletedonscheduleandmeetcompanyqualitystandards
- Followallsafetyproceduresandproperlyusetoolsandequipment
- Workovertimeasneededtomeetprojectdeadlines
