Role Description The Registered Dental Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Penn Valley, CA. This role supports dentists during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, arranging instruments, and assisting chairside with exams, restorations, and other dental treatments. Daily responsibilities include taking and preparing digital dental radiographs, scanning for impressions, reviewing medical histories, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing patients with post-treatment instructions and oral care guidance. The Registered Dental Assistant also manages sterilization and infection control processes, organizes supplies, and helps uphold a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment. Collaboration with the front office and clinical team to support scheduling, patient flow, and high-quality patient service is expected.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care to support chairside procedures and patient education.
- Experience with Sterilization protocols and infection control standards in a dental setting.
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting, including chairside support, radiographs, and clinical documentation.
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential in California and current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital radiography is preferred.
- Previous experience in general dentistry or related clinical settings is beneficial.
