Position Summary

Knight Group is looking for a dependable, hardworking Automotive Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing new, used, and customer vehicles to meet dealership standards.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail new, used, and customer vehicles.

• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, windows, and dashboards.

• Wash, wax, polish, and dry vehicle exteriors.

• Clean wheels, tires, and other exterior surfaces.

• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and dealership display.

• Remove stickers, protective coverings, and other materials as needed.

• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or concerns to management.

• Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership.

• Maintain a clean and organized detail area.

• Properly use and maintain detailing equipment, tools, and cleaning products.

• Follow dealership safety procedures and company policies.

• Work with sales and service departments to ensure vehicles are ready on time.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record if required to operate dealership or customer vehicles.

• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and detailing tasks.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $17.00–$27.50, depending on experience and qualifications.
