Job Summary
We areseekinga dedicated, detail-oriented, and client-focused Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handlinglitigation matters, preferably including personal injury cases, andpossessexcellent advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills. This role involvesrepresentingclients throughout all phases of litigation, providing legal counsel, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, negotiating settlements, and appearing in court. Fluency in Spanishis required toeffectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and ensure exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of litigation matters.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Develop litigation strategies and provide legal advice to clients regarding case progress and potential outcomes.
- Conduct client interviews andmaintainregular communicationregardingcase status and legal options.
- Collaborate withparalegals andsupport staff to ensuretimelycase progression and compliance with court deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, court rules, ethical standards, and firm policies.
- Maintainaccurateand organized case files using the firm's case management system.
Requirements
- Mastersdegree from an accredited law school.
- Active Barlicense to practice law(required).
- Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience preferred; personal injury litigation experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal research.
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple cases while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with legal research platforms and case management software is preferred.
- Ability to build andmaintainstrong client relationships with professionalism and empathy.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) isrequired.
