Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment near Litchfield, CA. Beginning August 24, 2026, and running through June 10, 2027, you’ll deliver essential speech-language services and collaborate closely with educational teams to foster student growth. This role offers steady, weekday hours and a supportive school environment focused on individualized student care. Weekly earnings range from $60 to $75 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

Qualifications & Required Credentials

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential or eligibility to obtain
  • Fingerprint clearance and completion of all district onboarding documents
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload and participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals, presenting findings during meetings
  • Collaborate with education staff, related service providers, and families for student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including service logs and progress reports
  • Consult with staff on accommodations and communication strategies
  • Support students with diverse eligibility categories, including ASD, SLI, OHI, and more
  • Utilize AAC devices and communication systems when necessary
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning
