<p>Medical Scribe</p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe to support physicians during patient encounters and accurately document clinical information. The Medical Scribe will transcribe physician-dictated histories, physical examination findings, procedures, laboratory and radiographic results, patient education, diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, prescriptions, and pending orders.</p>
<p>Required:</p>
<ul>
<li>6+ months of experience as a Medical Scribe</li>
<li>Type 90+ WPM</li>
<li>Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications quickly</li>
<li>Strong written communication, spelling, punctuation, and grammar</li>
<li>Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessment</li>
<li>Ability to accurately transcribe physician encounters</li>
<li>Ability to prepare and edit scribed documents for physician review and signature</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED required</li>
<li>Flu shot </li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred:</p>
<ul>
<li>College education in a related area of study</li>
<li>Experience with CS-Link/EPIC</li>
</ul>
