About the Role\n
We are seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our Bakersfield team. This opportunity is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, from individuals looking to begin a career in insurance to experienced insurance professionals seeking a new opportunity.

Prior insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required. We are also open to recent college graduates and motivated candidates who are interested in learning the commercial insurance business and building a long-term career in the industry.

The position supports our Commercial Lines department by assisting clients, Account Managers, and Producers with day-to-day service needs. Responsibilities and level of independence may vary based on the candidate’s prior insurance experience and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Respond to client phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other service requests
- Assist with renewals, billing questions, claims follow-up, and quoting activities
- Maintain accurate and complete client and policy information in the agency management system
- Work closely with Account Managers, Producers, and insurance carriers to resolve client needs
- Review insurance documents for accuracy and follow up on outstanding items
- Assist clients with understanding policy information and service needs
- Identify additional coverage needs and support appropriate cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain organized documentation and timely follow-up on assigned tasks
- Provide a consistently high level of client service

Qualifications\n
- \n
- Insurance agency or Commercial Lines experience preferred, but not required
- Recent college graduates and candidates interested in developing a career in insurance are encouraged to apply
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable learning new computer systems and agency management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- California Property & Casualty insurance license preferred
- Candidates who are not currently licensed will be required to obtain the appropriate California insurance license within the timeframe established by the agency
