Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Experience teaching students with diverse disabilities and learning needs
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to modify curriculum and deliver differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative spirit for working with fellow teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Provide direct instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings
- Adapt lessons, materials, and instructional strategies to accommodate students’ unique learning profiles
- Build positive relationships with students, encouraging participation and growth
- Maintain organized records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success both academically and socially
