Responsibilities:
- Source, order, and receive automotive parts and supplies from vendors and distributors
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts, fluids, and equipment in the parts department
- Assist technicians and service staff by quickly locating and delivering needed parts
- Process parts returns, warranties, and core charges in a timely manner
- Organize and stock shelves to ensure efficient parts retrieval and storage
- Communicate with suppliers to track orders and resolve discrepancies
- Support overall shop operations by maintaining a clean and organized parts area
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an automotive parts, service, or dealership environment preferred
- Familiarity with automotive parts catalogs and inventory management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer proficiency for parts lookup and order processing
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
