Role Description The Program Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, supporting the design, coordination, and execution of engaging Jewish life programs for college students. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing events, facilitating student-led initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with students, campus partners, and community organizations. The Program Associate will assist with outreach and communications, collect and analyze program data to inform strategy, and contribute to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for diverse student populations. The role also involves supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling, logistics, budgeting assistance, and documentation, while collaborating closely with the broader SF Hillel team.\n
Qualifications

Ability to manage and support programs, including planning, coordination, and implementation, demonstrating strong Program Management skills.

Strong Interpersonal Skills to build relationships with students, colleagues, and community partners, and to foster inclusive, welcoming environments.

Solid Analytical Skills to track participation, assess program impact, and use data to improve student engagement strategies.

Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to support outreach, marketing, facilitation, and clear collaboration across stakeholders.

Research skills to understand student needs, trends in Jewish campus life, and best practices in community-building and leadership development.

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and pluralistic Jewish life; experience working with college students or in a campus setting is beneficial.

Organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects and occasional evening or weekend programs.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Jewish studies, education, social sciences, student affairs, or non-profit work) preferred.
