Warehouse Associate / Driver
About the Role
The Warehouse Associate/Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities while providing the timely and safe delivery of materials. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing materials to support daily field operations. The role includes managing inventory, preparing material orders, maintaining accurate warehouse records, and operating company vehicles to transport materials to job sites and other company locations. The Warehouse Associate/Driver works closely with warehouse staff, logistics coordinators, supervisors, and field staff to ensure materials are available when needed and delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, organization, efficiency, and teamwork and plays a vital role in supporting the company's operational success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken) required to effectively communicate with field staff, supervisors, and warehouse personnel.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate and/or Delivery Driver.
- Class C drivers license
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming materials according to company procedures.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare material orders accurately, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly labeled.
- Maintain organized warehouse inventory and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Drive company delivery vehicles to transport materials to job sites, field staff, and other company locations while complying with all traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all materials are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs to ensure safe vehicle operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment logs, and delivery documentation using warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate deliveries and communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, dispatchers, and field staff regarding material requests, delivery schedules, and any issues that arise.
- Assist with inventory counts and support inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
- Perform other warehouse and delivery-related duties as assigned.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safe vehicle operation is essential to efficiently receive, organize, transport, and deliver materials that support daily field operations. The ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company delivery vehicles helps ensure materials are handled accurately while minimizing damage and delays. Excellent organizational skills are necessary to maintain inventory accuracy, manage multiple material requests, and meet delivery schedules. Effective communication skills, including bilingual English and Spanish proficiency, are used daily to coordinate with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and field staff to ensure materials are delivered correctly and operational needs are met. Familiarity with warehouse management software and handheld scanning devices further improves efficiency, inventory control, and overall warehouse productivity.
