Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid teaching credential in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated success with differentiated instruction for students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities
- Knowledge of current best-practices, behavioral interventions, and adaptive teaching tools
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Collaborative approach to working with colleagues, support providers, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based on curriculum standards and IEP goals
- Develop positive classroom management strategies for a supportive learning environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions
- Work closely with general education teachers and specialists to maximize student inclusion and success

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
