Title: Accounting Advisory Manager

Henderson Drake is working with a growing accounting advisory practice to find a Manager for their expanding US team.
\n
\n
The client base is varied and substantive: high-growth private businesses, PE-backed organisations, and public companies dealing with technically complex accounting and reporting situations. This is a role for a CPA who enjoys getting into the detail, working through difficult problems alongside finance leaders, and owning their engagements from start to finish.
\n
\n
What you will be doing:
\n
- \n
- Lead accounting advisory engagements across technical accounting and financial reporting matters
- Support clients through acquisitions, carve-outs, IPO readiness, and restructuring activity
- Provide guidance on US GAAP, SEC reporting, and other complex accounting areas
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos and client deliverables
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders

What we are looking for:
\n
- \n
- 4+ years in public accounting, accounting advisory, or transaction services
- CPA qualification required
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Track record working directly with senior finance stakeholders in a client-facing environment
- Comfortable managing multiple engagements at the same time
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
